At a time when I (ENA Complex live-in carer) needed support the most, during a challenging situation and outside normal working hours, my managers, Judd and Tsitsi, not only received the information and remained passive but dedicated their time to guide and support me in managing a difficult situation at my work placement.
A situation that could easily have gone out of hand was kept under control, resulting in a positive outcome. At a time when I was unsure and greatly in need of management support, they provided clear guidance to help resolve the issues amicably and always in the best interests of the service user.
This has ultimately boosted my confidence and courage in my day-to-day care duties.
